Digital media is now at the heart of any successful campaign, and success of those campaigns increasingly depends on data-driven platforms and services to better understand and engage with existing customers, and to reach new audiences.
However, the online advertising ecosystem faces a myriad of privacy challenges and technical developments, not least in the form of third-party cookie depreciation, the emergence of new technologies designed to address the resulting loss in addressability, new EU regulation such as the Digital Markets Act and Digital Services Act, and increased regulatory action (particularly around use of “reject all” buttons).
