International data transfers are big news again this month, with two significant announcements coming within the space of a few hours. First there was President Biden’s Executive Order, the first step in kick starting the EU adequacy process for the US, closely followed by the UK-US Joint Statement setting out the UK’s plans to find the US an adequate country for data transfers.
